Hourly companions and homemakers are available for one hour up to 24 hours a day. They provide individualized support while maintaining dignity and independence for clients. Once a schedule is set, the same caregiver provides service. Hourly companions are a great option for someone who wants to stay in their home or independent living facility, but need additional assistance in order to do so.

Companions and Caregivers are available.

All Live at Home employees are screened through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement as well as the DMV. They are all licensed (through the Agency for Health Care Administration), bonded, and insured. We cover worker's compensation and all payroll taxes. Our rates are all inclusive, including a 5 mile a day allowance for mileage in a caregiver's car. Holidays are charged at time and a half, however, there is no differential for weekends or overnight care. We have no long-term contracts, so service can be adapted to your changing needs. Couples rates are also available. When a qualified member of our team comes to do an assessment, we will ask a lot of in-depth questions about preferences and lifestyle. This is to match a caregiver whom will provide the support and trust that is needed to have the most effective, quality caregiving experience.
